Description:

The cold rush of wind quickens across the barren fields. It travels over muddy and rutted pools of water lit orange by the setting sun, past the crumbling rock walls where once a castle stood whole. Through broken stained glass windows, over worn cobblestone floors, and what felt like straight into the bones of the king.

He shivers.

Realizing that night is approaching sooner than he had hoped, he douses the fire and ascends the stairs of the keep…
