American doom/post-metal duo Surus release new live video for the song »Isolate«!

Tulsa, Oklahoma based doom/post-metal duo Surus has released new video for the song »Isolate«, recorded live at Noisetown.

»Isolate« is taken off their first album »Posthumous«, out on February 7th, 2023.

Isolate was released as part of Surus’ first full album »Posthumous«. Showcasing the Duos signature mix of crushing doom riffs mixed with ethereal ambient soundscapes evoking a feeling of loneliness and unease followed by a violent release. This live video was shot and recorded live at Noisetown Tulsa with Dustin Howard of Groucho with some shots from another Tulsa staple venue The Whittier bar. Mixed, mastered and video edited by Jared Hagan.

Formed in 2023, Surus is the brainchild of guitarist/vocalist Jared Hagan and drummer/vocalist Brandon Simon. The duo crafts a sound that is both expansive and suffocating, seamlessly weaving together blistering shrieked vocals, whispered falsettos, and devastating instrumentation. Their compositions are defined by oppressive, distorted guitars and unrelenting drumming, creating a relentless ebb and flow between eerie calm and overwhelming chaos.
