Indianapolis, IN – Wizard Tattoo, the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist Bram the Bard, is excited to announce the release of their full-length album »Living Just For Knife Fighting« on December 6, 2024. This album combines the visceral energy of the recently released EP »One Of These Knives« (out November 1, 2024) and the dark, introspective »Living Just For Dying« EP (released July 2024) into one cohesive and powerful listening experience.
But that’s not all – »Living Just For Knife Fighting« also features three exclusive cover tracks that add an innovative twist to the Wizard Tattoo sound:
»In the Meantime« (originally by Helmet) – Vocals by Bram the Bard
»Dirty Black Summer« (originally by Danzig) – Vocals by Djinnifer
»Orgasmatron« (originally by Motörhead) – Vocals by Fausto Aurelius
A unified album with new surprises
While some fans may already be familiar with both EPs, »Living Just For Knife Fighting« takes them to the next level by offering new material alongside the previously released tracks. The album brings together the intricate storytelling and genre-blending that defines Wizard Tattoo, weaving together doom, stoner metal, psych rock, prog rock, and a unique narrative vision. These new cover tracks aren’t just add-ons—they offer a dynamic interpretation of iconic songs, creating an album that feels both familiar and completely new.

A journey through dark landscapes
»Living Just For Knife Fighting« isn’t just a combination of two EPs – it’s the culmination of Wizard Tattoo’s journey throughout 2024. The album explores dark, fantastical themes through tracks like »Varsak Of Man« from »One Of These Knives« and »The Wizard Who Loved Me« from »Living Just For Dying«, creating an experience that is at once heavy, diverse, and deeply atmospheric.
A must-listen for fans of doom, stoner metal, and more
For fans who have supported Wizard Tattoo’s journey through »Living Just For Dying« and »One Of These Knives«, this album offers something new and exciting, while still remaining true to the heavy, experimental core of Wizard Tattoo’s sound. With these new covers, the album is a perfect bridge between Bram the Bard’s original music and his influences.
»Living Just For Knife Fighting« will be available on all major platforms starting December 6, 2024.
