American doom/sludge metal duo Thunderchief unveil a cover of Joe Walsh’s classic »Turn To Stone«

American misanthropic doom/sludge metal duo Thunderchief has unveiled a cover of Joe Walsh’s classic »Turn To Stone« which was just released today December 31st, 2021.

Says the band: “As promised in October 2021, the band will be releasing 1 cover song per month for 1 year, culminating in an “all-covers” album in Winter 2022. The band first released a disturbing version of »Vampire State Building« by Rudimentary Peni, followed by Spooky Tooth’s take on »Evil Woman«.

For our December offering, Thunderchief is kicking back into classic rock mode with a rendition of Joe Walsh’s »Turn To Stone«.

This heavy-as-all version of Mr. Walsh’s classic was recorded by the one and only Mike Dean in Raleigh, NC, mixed by Mark Miley in Richmond, VA, and mastered at New Alliance East by Nick Zampiello.”
