Breaths, the passion project of multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Jason Roberts, returns with its sixth full-length album, »Violescent«. Marking a new chapter for Roberts, the record embraces a stripped-down approach to songwriting and production, offering a raw yet focused evolution of the Breaths sound.
Originally conceived as a short-lived trio under the Violescent name, the project has come full circle with an album that now bears its title. Across its runtime, »Violescent« fuses doom, sludge, post-metal, and heavy psychedelia into a dense, immersive experience, equally devastating and revitalizing.
