American melodic death/doom metal outfit Privity releases a visualizer for their new single »Firmamental Graffiti«

Arlington, Texas based melodic death/doom metal outfit Privity featuring former members of Shadowed Beneath has released a visualizer for their new single »Firmamental Graffiti«, now streaming on all major digital platforms.

Visualizer by Daniel Hambright.

»Firmamental Graffiti« is the fourth single taken from the band’s forthcoming concept album »The Firmament« to be released in 2023. Listen to previous singles »There Never Was A Self«, »Apogee« and »The Grand Scales« here: privity.bandcamp.com.

At the edge of the world, at the most remote point of your comprehension, stands a magnificent and impregnable wall: The Firmament. On one side, everything you’ve experienced, everything you know. On the other side, everything that you’ve been told awaits you. You’ve been told only a narrow path can lead you there, and you’re impelled forward to your promised destiny by those who presume to guide you, trudging through the tight margins between lesser walls built upon deceit and fear. Born into this bondage, forced to your knees to repent for sins not your own, told to endure endless pain as you crawl towards The Firmament and the glorious eternity that awaits beyond. Why is this the only prize? Why is suffering the only path towards it? Why should you serve as a cog in someone else’s machination of power? Rise up from your knees and break down the hollow walls they’ve built around you. Make those who use fear to control you come to know it themselves. Follow that light that exists solely in your own mind and you will make your own way forward. At the end of your journey, at the end of your path, we will meet and gather together at The Firmament, and they will come to know that no wall can stand in our way.
