This is going to be a blast! Probably the coolest and most stylish psychedelic blues rock trio from Chicago is coming to Europe this fall to present their new album »All In A Name« live!

The trio Daisychain has created a sound that combines many things in its own unique way. In addition to psychedelic elements and blues rock, heavy garage rock is a must! It also reminds you of classic 70s rock. They would practically be the perfect soundtrack for the movie »Almost Famous«.

Not to mention their latest single, »Rivers«, which reflects exactly this sound.

Daisychain – »All In A Name«:

The blues rock triple act Daisychain is a blend of hard and soft, as their name suggests. Their sound is characterized by contrasts: sensual and profound, featuring bassy harmonies, long guitar solos, and rhythmic, passionate garage rock sounds, relaxed and positive. Inspired by the sounds of the ’70s, their sounds are comfortably transported into the 21st century. Like The Who, Patti Smith, Velvet Underground, and The Mama’s & The Papas, Daisychain’s retro melodies are humorous and brilliant.

The triple band first met at an open mic in 2017. This was followed by several band performances, where they harmoniously harmonized, both stylistically and personally. This motivated them to work together creatively as a group and create enduring hits and catchy tunes. “The snapshots and shared emotional experiences bonded us together,” says singer Sophia Williams.

From the beginning, the three pursued a noble goal: to portray the often obscure and therefore sometimes underestimated music culture of the American Midwest and invite the world to get to know it. Chicago native and guitarist Frankie Sripada admits, “This was an easy way to attract new fans, as the small towns of the Midwest in the USA allow for personal encounters, through walk-ins and passersby who spontaneously hear about us at festival performances.” Last year alone, Daisychain managed to be personally invited to Chicago’s prestigious “Metro” by its owner, Joe Shanahan. “For years, this has been THE meeting place for the Chicago music scene, and being able to play there made me very grateful because it was a dream come true,” Sophia enthuses.

In the age of TikTok flash-in-the-pan, Daisychain is all about sustainable growth. The band spends much of the year touring in person to expand their fan base. Their constant presence has earned them loyal fans and given them self-confidence as artists. Now their European debut is just around the corner. They are particularly drawn to performing some of their classics live, with a musical twist. To inspire and move their European audiences, and to introduce themselves to them personally, they have recently begun performing spontaneously on stage. “Improvisation is pure thrill, but we look out for each other, think together, and resolve problems together. This creates our harmony, maintains team spirit, and creates excitement,” reveals lead guitarist Frankie.

The three Nickole, Frankie, and Sophia have been a well-rehearsed team for seven years. While brainstorming ideas for their new album, »All In A Name«, they locked themselves together for a month and discussed the creative content. Their own emotional fragments, combined with their collaboration, ultimately resulted in 10 accomplished tracks. Daisychain has forgotten their ego and all inhibitions through this workflow, like last season’s clothes. “We wrote 25 songs in one week,” Nickole marvels, still amazed after completing the process.

Trust in each other, within the band, but also in the producers and sound engineering team, is the recipe for success of »All In A Name«. The forest wind, the glockenspiel, and beating hearts, paired with harmonious vocals and guitar sounds, thus become a unified whole. Nickole’s and Sophia’s lush vocals, combined with clarinet, flute, and a relaxed keyboard, create cultivated, feminine sounds and pleasant beats that evoke positive energies. From folk to hip-hop, they tried everything and mixed it together. The end result is a listenable record with multiple genres of personality. »All In A Name« is packed with stylistic diversity. Classic blues rock anthems peppered with Technicolor sounds throughout, as well as thought-provoking lyrics. An emotional and intellectual experience for everyone.
