Big Sky, Montana based stoner/doom metal outfit Scavenger MT is back with their second full-length album, entitled »Feral«, which was released on January 7th, 2024.

“Stoner metal riff mayhem from Big Sky, Montana!”

Erupting from the mud pots of the Yellowstone caldera and clashing with the peaks of the Rocky Mountain front, Scavenger have pushed through the valleys like an emerging force. The Big Sky area is where the 4 piece band was formed and resides. The mountainous landscapes and wild predators are a perfect source of musical inspiration. Scavenger is a cumulative writing force with ideas that are fed to each other like carion to devour.

They’re friends that just happen to be in a band together and have a mutual respect for each others musical input, that makes it easy for them to function as a unit. Their influences are vast, thrash/hardcore/punk/stoner doom/metal/speed metal/sludge/rock/jazz/prog. Scavenger has been together for over 10 years. They put that experience and influences together to write material that emulates their own style.
