Malaga, Spain based psychedelic space rockers The Silver Linings have released new single and music video »Arabella Isadora«.

»Arabella Isadora« is the second single from the band’s upcoming album, a homage to »Strawberry Mansion« film.

The band comments: “Here’s the music video for one of our most special tracks: »Arabella Isadora«.

A dreamlike journey where imagination, nostalgia, and sensations intertwine without following a linear path, as if we were traversing fragments of a dream that refuses to fade.

You already know we’re big fans of space rock and psychedelic music. For this song and video, we drew inspiration from surreal atmospheres and the visual imagery of the film »Strawberry Mansion«. This video aims to create a space where the symbolic and the emotional coexist, allowing each viewer to find their own interpretation.

This track will be included on our second album, currently in production.”

Formed in Malaga (Spain) in 2021, The Silver Linings’ proposition could be understood as a return to the origins, to those years of primal psychedelia when outer space was still navigated in oval-shaped flying saucers and tales were dominated by tin robots and their typical mechanical movements.

Jose (bass), Cati (guitar), and Javi (vocals, guitar) began their psychedelic acid journey alongside Chechu (drums). Shortly after, Lolo took his place, and the band thus began working on their first songs. Their influences stem from 20th-century science fiction, Moorcock’s literature, Moebius’ illustrations, Tarkovsky’s cinema, Jodorowsky’s work, and the poetry of the Beat generation, as well as natural spaces in Andalusia such as the Torcal de Antequera, the Gorafe desert, the dunes of Bolonia, and the Strait of Gibraltar.
