“The name of this album is inspired by a recent visit that I had to the ER to be put on suicide watch for a couple days and this statement, the longing for rest, being tired of life, was rampaging through my damaged mind as I silently cried myself to sleep in the triage, unable to shower, and smelling as I would if I had gone through the act and given in to my intrusive thoughts.
The lyrics of these songs delve into my struggles with maintaining my life as it stands. From the »Call Of The Void«, the self-belittling and embracing of degeneracy in the song »Vermin«, this confessional and unfiltered record was difficult but an incredible display of therapeutic ventilation.”
