Monje is a doom/sludge metal band formed in 2016 made up of Diego Petullo (guitar), Lucas Scardamaglia (bass), Diego Hernandez (drums) and Matias Ibañez (vocals). They have 3 studio albums »Monje« (2018), »Druga Dimenzija« (2020) and their most recent work »Culto al Fin de los Tiempos« (2023) and a live album »Igual de Macabre: Live Bunker« (2022).

Monje has a dark and aggressive sound which manages to exploit its full potential in its live shows which throughout its career it has managed to tour both the interior of the country and its neighboring countries.

With this new obituary archive, Monje transcends doom to explore, through death and black metal, the sepulchral groove coined by the quartet that coexists in dissonant harmonies with blast beats, breakdowns, experiencing the number of climates that can be found within its gloomy, and so aggressive morbid darkness.
