Lobo del Hombre was formed in 2016 in Posadas, Misiones (Argentina), with a sound that transcends boundaries: hypnotic, experimental, and psychedelic stoner rock.

The band’s sound is a fusion that draws from genres such as heavy metal, doom, sludge, stoner rock, progressive rock, and psychedelic rock. Their influences include legendary bands such as Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Pappo’s Blues, Pescado Rabioso, Pez, Kyuss, Los Natas, The Sword, Los Antiguos, Poseidótica, Crowbar, and Macaco Bong, among others.

Since its formation in 2016, Lobo del Hombre has been featured at major festivals and events, such as Mate Rock and Villapelooza in Posadas, Al Caer el Sol in Leandro N. Alem, Festival 40 Grados in Puerto Rico, and the Apóstoles International Motorcycle Gathering, to name a few of the numerous dates throughout the province of Misiones, featuring fellow artists.

In 2024, the band participated in the first season of the audiovisual series “Sessions in Tierra Soñada. A shout in the city” produced by Tierra Soñada Studios and MisionesOnline TV, sharing space with Los Mitá, El Néctar, Mostro, Manukas, Unus Mundus, El Banco Local, Los de Imaguaré among other renowned artists.

In June 2025, they were invited to participate in the global Make Music Day event in Foz de Iguazú, Brazil, the only Argentine band to share the bill with bands from Paraguay, Brazil, and Venezuela at the city’s Barracao Theater.

Additionally, since 2023, the band has organized and promoted “Fiestoner”, a traveling festival that has already held three editions. The most recent, in July 2025, Fiestoner Volume 3, added the Venezuelan numetal band Osmodeuz to its lineup for a tour of South America, which was very well received by audiences in Posadas and the region.

In July 2025, Lobo del Hombre have presented their first single, »Argos«, on all platforms. It was recorded at Tierra Soñada Studios in Posadas, Misiones. This song is the title track of the band’s upcoming debut album, to be released soon.
