Seattle, Washington based atmospheric/doom/sludge/jazz solo project Strength And Sanity has just released the second album »Waking Light Goodbye« on May 25th, 2023.

»Waking Light Goodbye« is the second album by Justin Almquist under band name Strength And Sanity.

Over 5 years of work went into making this album, which is the next evolutionary step for this project. Looking to combine influences from 90’s hard rock, metal, and the vibe of 60’s jazz, Justin also makes his vocal debut on this album.

Strength And Sanity now also features baritone saxophone, adding weight and texture to the album and going in a different direction than most metal bands.

Justin Almquist: drum kit, electric bass, guitars, double bass, keyboard, piano, baritone saxophone, soprano saxophone, vocals, recording and mixing

There is no drum programming or drum samples used on this album.
