Austin dark psych-Americana rockers Lord Buffalo announce European and US spring tours; new album out now on Blues Funeral Recordings!

Austin, Texas based purveyors of dark, atmospheric psych-Americana Lord Buffalo will embark on a handful of U.S. live dates in support of latest album »Holus Bolus« before setting out on their first-ever European tour this May alongside Scandinavian post-rock outfit Orsak:Oslo.
The trip will include slots at Sonic Whip Fest (Netherlands) and Sonic Rites Fest (Finland) and tour stops in the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Norway, and Finland, marking a new chapter as the band brings their immersive, cinematic sound to European audiences.
With the release of their new album »Holus Bolus« on Blues Funeral Recordings, Lord Buffalo continue to defy genre boundaries. Their music – described as heavy in the way that ghosts are heavy, or in the way that billowing dust is heavy – offers an evocative blend of droning violin, layered guitars, and rhythmic intensity. Drawing from influences as varied as Morricone, Badalamenti, Sabbath, and Swans, the band crafts a sound that feels new yet ageless. This tour promises to showcase Lord Buffalo’s live energy, immersing audiences in a soundscape that bridges the mystical and the visceral.

“Lord Buffalo strike a balance between filmic desert noir and trippy Middle Eastern ambiance.” — Prog
“A hugely rewarding and cinematic experience. Once Lord Buffalo welcome you into their shadowy home, you’ll struggle to find your way out.” — Distorted Sound Magazine
“Holus Bolus is gruff, nasty and an impressive musical portrait of the dark side of Americana and American Gothic.” — Eclipsed Magazin
“As raw and as organic as the ground beneath their feet, this haunting yet meditative pièce de résistance is more real than any story, long since discombobulated, the country dares try to sell you.” — Doom Charts
“Lord Buffalo carry the tar-smoked soul of Americana through walls of scratching riffs and equally discordant violins, but all that roughness is smoothed out by the pipes of frontman Daniel Pruitt. How this lot are so under-heard is baffling.” — Metal Hammer
