Australian doom/heavy metal band Dying Sun has just released new single and music video »Curse Of The Coven« taken from the upcoming EP »An Oath Written In Blood«.

Dying Sun is a doom-laden metal band from the hinterlands of the Sunshine Coast, Australia, currently consisting of Damon Robinson (bass, guitar, drums, vocals) as a sole member.

Birthed in 2019, debut, »DoomsdayCometh« was released in December 2020, recorded by Matt D, mixed by Nathan Bailey (Godthrymm) and mastered by Alan Douches (High On Fire, Morbid Angel). Without pause, Dying Sun begun work on their sophomore effort, »Black Coven«, released in December 2022.

Damon Robinson comments: “Recording for album #3 is underway with a new drummer. I will update periodically on progress. Change is always a time consuming process but is sometimes a very necessary thing to have happen! I appreciate past members contributions and efforts but it is now onwards and upwards as Dying Sun will be heading in a heavier, more stripped down direction. The EP, »An Oath Written In Blood«, is a hint at what’s to come!”
