Formed in Perth, Australia by Jon Vayla (Boltgun) in 2022. Snaw follows a vision of musical collaborations, alternating black metal/post metal with dark ambient/experimental work. Influences from Marduk, Ulver, Swans, to Atrium Carceri, Lustmord and Beyond Dawn. Collaborators all have unique styles, creating a musical and thematic synthesis appealing to fans of ominous, avantgarde music.

Vayla is joined by Robin Stone (drums) and Andrew Trevenen (vocals) on »The Skin Dancer«. The three Australians unleashing a document of existential terror, combining dark mythology and Cormac McCarthy-inspired scenes of horror and desolation. Vayla’s baritone vocals book-ending the more ferocious tracks such as the title track and »Columns Of Smoke«. The final track of the album, »The Black Plains II« provides a fog covered descent into a primitive world.

The artworks by Marc Potts are fitting companions to the first two Snaw albums, like ancient stories recalled around fires at the end of everything.

The album is available as high quality 24bit 96kHz wav files
