»Power Held In Stone« is an imagined soundtrack for a folk horror film that exists only in our collective imagination. It tells the story of rebellion against invading oppressors, of doors beyond our perception, how old ways clash with new, of the terror before the dawn, and of souls trapped in stone communicating through the generations. The songs and the stories within them emerge from a darkness yet to be fully explored.

Recorded, mixed and mastered by Jason Fuller at Goatsound Studios in Preston from May-November 2023.

VVARP acknowledges and pays tribute to the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation, on whose lands this record was written and recorded.
