Klagenfurt, Austria based death/doom metal band Cryptal Echoes has released their self-titled debut EP on May 17th, 2024 via Vienna’s Urban Lurk.

US independent label Noxious Ruin reissued »Cryptal Echoes« EP on limited cassette edition on September 1st, 2024.

»Cryptal Echoes« is debut release of Klagenfurt-based death/doom band Cryptal Echoes formed in 2021. This EP was recorded on February 10-11, 2023.

»Cryptal Echoes« EP delivers 30 minutes of insane and tortured death doom. It’s raw and desperate sounding, while still maintaining the perfect amount of heft and volume to blow you clean out of your chair.

Cryptal Echoes take the long form, odd structures of early Finnish death metal a la Rippikoulu or Thergothon and combine it with the dirge and sonic assault of bands like Corrupted & Grief. If you like your death metal dirty like we do, then you’re sure to enjoy Cryptal Echoes.

As with all NR Handwrought releases, this includes a hand screen printed heavyweight Maltese cross style foldout case, a full color double sided 8×10 insert, on a transparent green pro-tape.
