Linz, Austria based doom/gothic metal veterans Jack Frost have unveiled their new single »New Dawn Fades« featuring Michelle Darkness (End Of Green) on guest vocals. This is also the title track of their upcoming EP, scheduled for release on May 7th, 2023.

»New Dawn Fades« was originally released by English new wave/post-punk pioneers Joy Division on their debut album »Unknown Pleasures« in 1979.

Jack Frost is a doom/gloom rock band from Linz, Upper Austria.

Jack Frost have taken their name from the Saint Vitus song, which should make it clear, where they get their inspiration from. Jack Frost mix doom metal and influences from the gothic scene (such as Bauhaus and Joy Division). Jack Frost give us a modern day look at traditional doom metal mixed in with gothic metal and goth elements. Their music is also reminiscent of Type O Negative.
