Austrian flash rock duo Meat Cheese are joining Argonauta Records imprint Octopus Rising!
Formed in the Tyrolean Alps in 2019 by Gregor Lindner on bass and vocals and Michael Posch on drums and vocals, the duo have built their own twisted take on progressive stoner rock, mixing crushing low frequencies, infectious grooves, powerful vocals and plenty of room for improvisation.
Now Meat Cheese are ready to enter a new chapter with their second album, »Solstice«, coming via Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records.
And the journey starts right here.
»Solstice«, the album’s title track, is out now as the band’s first single and comes with an official music video.

“We’re happy to release our first single »Solstice«. It’s the title track of the new album. Uplifting lyrics, twisted grooves and powerful vocals. Follow the band and ride with them into the sun, because solstice has begun.”
Watch the official video HERE.
Having shared stages with Crowbar, El Perro, Kadabra, Mother’s Cake, The Cosmic Dead and many more, Meat Cheese have established themselves as a powerful and unpredictable live duo.
Recorded at High Mountain Records Studio and Innside Sound Studio in Austria, Solstice pushes their songwriting into more complex territory while keeping the groove, energy and rock’n’roll spirit firmly intact. Mixed by Markus Hechenberger and mastered by Christian Larese.
