Austrian progressive sludge metallers Pryne premiere new single »In Reap«; available now on all major streaming services!

Graz/Vienna, Austria based progressive sludge metal band Pryne premiere new single »In Reap«, released on October 30th, 2026.

»In Reap« is now available on all major streaming services!

Pryne is an Austrian progressive sludge metal band formed in 2021, whose sound is defined by massive rhythms, heavy yet melodic riffs, and polyphonic vocals. Inspired by bands such as Mastodon and Baroness, the quartet quickly made a name for itself on both the national and international scene – through club shows and festivals as well as support slots including Zeal & Ardor, Voivod & Poison Ruin.

Following their live debut EP »U.P.O.« and the studio album »Gargantuan« released in 2023, Pryne consistently continued their path in 2025 with the EP »Smøl«, making another striking statement with the 8.5-minute conceptual epic »Drifting Sun // Shifting None«. Since then, new material is released continuously, allowing the band to make its musical evolution audibly tangible while gradually revealing new facets of its sound step by step.
