Aztec inspired psych-sludge metal band Kurokuma release new single »Sacrifice To Huitzilopochtli«
UK psychedelic sludge metal trio Kurokuma has released the second single »Sacrifice To Huitzilopochtli« taken from their upcoming debut album, »Born Of Obsidian«, which will see the light on February 4th, 2022.
The general concepts running through the record are focused on ancient Mexican civilisations, Aztec deities, human sacrifice and the use of mushrooms in divine religious ceremonies.

Sheffield based psychedelic sludge-metal band Kurokuma have shared the 2nd single from their upcoming debut album »Born Of Obsidian« which is set for release on 4th February.
The album was produced by Sanford Parker (YOB, EyeHateGod, Indian) and the general concepts running through the record are focused on ancient Mexican civilisations, Aztec deities, human sacrifice and the use of mushrooms in divine religious ceremonies.

Their latest single, »Sacrifice To Huitzilopochtli« explores human sacrifice and how the Aztecs believed if they stopped sacrificing the sun would stop in the sky and an eternal night would come. You can check out the track now.
»Born Of Obsidian« is released digitally and on CD/tape on 4th February with vinyl to follow later in the year.
