Bassist Randy Larsen leaves American sludge/doom extremists Come To Grief
American sludge/doom extremists Come To Grief announce that their bassist Randy Larsen (Slow Death, Empty Flowers, ex-Cable, ex-Isis) has made the decision to leave the band.
Jerry Orne from Warhorse, Conclave and Desolate is filling in for all the upcoming shows in 2021.
The band states: “We wanted give an update on a couple things… Randy has made the decision to leave Come To Grief. We understand his reasons as they were explained to us, and we fully support his decision to step away from music at this time. These past couple years have been very productive, and we recorded an album we’re all very proud of (and can’t wait to show you all). We had a great time with Randy, there are no hard feelings, and we wish him nothing but the best!
That said, all the upcoming shows we have booked for 2021 will still be happening as planned! We are extremely honored, and appreciative to our good friend (and Terry’s Warhorse bandmate) Jerry Orne, who has agreed to step up and hold down the low end for all of our upcoming shows. Once we get through these five shows, we’ll have time step back, and to consider all potential bassists to move forward with into 2022, and beyond!”
