Bear Stone Festival announces the first bands that are set to perform at Bear Stone Festival 2023 as well as the pre-sale date for a limited number of Early Bear tickets!

Bear Stone Festival will take place on July 7-8, 2023 on the banks of the magical Mrežnica river in Donje Primišlje, Croatia.

Bear Stone crew comments: “Still reminiscing about the summer? Well, buckle up buster because we are announcing the first batch of bands that will perform at Bear Stone Festival 2023!

We are very eagerly expecting the next edition of Bear Stone Festival after this year’s “Year Zero Edition” which created quite a buzz and very quickly established the festival as a fresh new concept that has been recognized both by its domestic and international audience. The symbiosis of Rock music with all of its (sub)genres and untouched nature has never been more beautiful.

Our first headliners are a world famous UK institution for over 25 years, the legendary stoner rock/blues metal band Orange Goblin. They are followed by Croatia’s very own psychedelic rock magicians Seven That Spells for whom this will be their first public appearance in almost 4 years. Mother’s Cake are a band that tenaciously expands their alternative space rock gospel across the European stages for a number of years proving themselves to be the backbone of the Austrian alternative scene. Coming from Hungary are Woodstock Barbie led by the charismatic vocalist Alexandra Pádár with an arsenal of material that guarantees a wild ride.

We’ll be issuing a limited amount of Early Bear tickets at a discounted price next Wednesday, October 19th at 10AM (CET).

They say that the early bird catches the worm, but we have no idea what an early bear does. Join us next week to find out!”

Longevity! That is the shortest way to describe the musical path and career of UK destroyers Orange Goblin.

Founded way back in ’95 (under the name Our Haunted Kingdom) with the leadership of front-man and vocalist Ben Ward, they appeared on the London scene in the middle of an exciting explosion of stoner rock and doom metal. After a huge number of concerts and tours around the world where they have shared the stage with the likes of Alice Cooper, Heaven & Hell, Queens Of The Stone Age, Down, Clutch, Slayer and Danzig, an invitation in 2017 from Ozzy Osbourne himself to perform on the main stage of the California edition of Ozzfest stands as a personal highlight.

No one can survive for 26 years in the music business without experiencing a few lows to counterbalance the highs. Orange Goblin overcame many obstacles on the way, but a simple and unpretentious attitude allowed them to overcome any adversity. After nine studio and two live albums, several EPs and singles they arrive for the first time at Bear Stone Festival!

Critically acclaimed psychedelic rock warriors Seven That Spells have an impressive number of discographic accomplishments under their belt as well as a fair number of projects, shows, tours and past band members in the last 19 years.

The vision of The Last Lord Of Atlantis aka Niko Potočnjak, who is also the mastermind behind the band, is to uncompromisingly keep pushing the boundaries of what Rock music is supposed to be.

We are looking forward to a very special performance from a band that chooses it’s shows wisely.

Mother’s Cake are a psychedelic space rock trio with a respectable reputation. Leaders of the Austrian rock scene were founded at the end of 2008. and since then their career path has taken them to hundreds of concerts (from Manchester to Melbourne and Mumbai), including performances with Wolfmother, Iggy & The Stooges, Omar Rodriguez-López, Alice In Chains and Limp Bizkit.

In their own words: “Disorder makes us feel comfortable. Madness is our fuel. Psychedelia is our ecstasy. We invite you to join us on an exciting journey off the beaten track.”

They will present their recent album »Cyberfunk« at Bear Stone Festival!

Woodstock Barbie are a Hungarian band, led by the charismatic vocalist Alexandra Pádár. They’re into vintage blues rock combined with scratchy stoner and a dash of silky soul.

At the Hungarian talent competition Fülesbagoly they won in the ‘Best Female Singer’ and ‘Best Musician’ categories. In 2021 they were selected for the HEMI Music Award. They also won the Czech Blues Aperitive competition and played at the Polish Blues Alive festival. Their first showcase concert at the PIN Music Conference proved to be a great success.

Woodstock Barbie are on IMPALA’s “100 Artists to Watch” list and are currently working on a new release.

Bear Stone Festival is also announcing the presale date of limited and discounted Early Bear tickets that will be available from Wednesday, 19.10. from 10 a.m. Follow us on social media below for important links that will be posted soon.
