Astannie releases their debut song and video »Adsutnasc« on September 25!

Artwork contains a photo from the archive of the investigation into the death of the Dyatlov group near Mount Kholat Syakhl. Adsutnasć (“Absence”) – their greatest fear isn’t nonexistence… Their greatest fear is fading into it completely alone… “Be with me, be until the end” – a soul-chilling final plea from those doomed to die in a merciless, icy wasteland.

Astannie (“Farewell” in English) is a band from Belarus inspired by melancholic doomy music. Viscous, rocking, and mesmerizing, playing at the intersection of post-metal, doom metal, progressive rock and more. Pushing the boundaries of what is allowed, the quartet explores musical forms through the prism of feelings.

The Belarusian-language lyrics, clean female vocals and dark avant-garde music videos immerse you in the stories filled with authentic Belarusian longing. The black-and-white aesthetic and cinematic quality allow for full immersion in an atmosphere of melancholy.

The continuation of the conceptual story – the second single and video – is already ready; the announcement won’t be long in coming.
