Belarusian post-black/doom metal band Dymna Lotva have released a full live video of their special acoustic show at Niech Cisza Milczy 2025 in Pyskowice, Poland.

“We had never performed »Dead Don’t Hurt« live before. It feels so strange, considering that the lyrics and the vocal part here are my absolute favorites out of everything Dymna Lotva has ever released. I’m so proud that this is the very first song people will hear from the acoustic set. »Dead Don’t Hurt« is about trust and betrayal, about a difficult choice and its consequences. “To be honest, we still don’t quite understand how we agreed to our wonderful drummer’s idea to play this special acoustic set at his festival Niech Cisza Milczy.

There was neither time nor opportunity to prepare. We live in different cities and have regular day jobs. Every weekend was already booked with shows. So we’re still a little amazed that we somehow managed to pull this off.

We had only two rehearsals with part of the lineup and zero rehearsals with the full band. So some parts of the show were improvised. And damn, it was awesome!

We hope this is the first step toward doing a show with an orchestra someday in the future.

The most important thing is to dare.
