Minsk, Belarus based psychedelic sludge/doom metal outfit Cosmic Storm has released their debut EP »The First Cosmic Storm« on October 1st, 2024.

»The First Cosmic Storm« EP is available as a split with Smoŭž on cassette via Polish label Decadence Within Records.

Decadence Within continues its support to doomed Belarusian underground and presents a split release of Smoŭž and Cosmic Storm. Both bands provided an EP release for this showcase, and we are now presenting its on cassettes.

Cosmic Storm is a new entity, which plays dirty and filthy stoner in the vein of eternal classics of Electric Wizard’s Dopethrone. Apocalyptic Space Eerie Doom, as they called themselves.

Smoŭž should already be known for their Rotting EP which we released in 2020. This time they provided 2 tracks where they developed their style in a bit more sharply sounding doom with extreme metal influences, and followed it up with sick 12-minute improvisation with heavy techno-meets-noise electronics.
