Rituals Of The Dead Hand is a black/doom formation from Belgium (forged by members from the well-known post-metal band Hemelbestormer), who present their 3rd full-length album »The Wretched And The Vile«.

Compared to Hemelbestormer, Rituals Of The Dead Hand takes a complete different direction in both sound and presentation of their craft. The music can be described best as black metal with an overall doom and death sound that is very harsh, destructive and rather aggressive. Great riffing entangled with pounding drum parts and low end bass lines that brings the music to the ultimate tension. The vocals are rather old school sounding, but well balanced in the mix to give that little extra.
