Belgian doom/death metal band Marche Funèbre to release new album in September on Ardua Music; first single »In A Haze« out May 31st!

Mechelen, Belgium based doom/death metal band Marche Funèbre teamed up with Ardua Music for the release of their new album, which will see the light in September 2024.

Marche Funèbre says: “We are proud to announce that Ardua Music will be releasing our new album, scheduled for September 2024. The label is known for releasing killer doom metal, like Counting Hours, Pantheïst, My Silent Wake or our good friends from My Lament. Needless to say we are thrilled to be working again with David, who released our last album »Einderlicht« on vinyl as well.

A first digital single will see the light of day/dark of night on Friday 31st of May. »In A Haze« will be presented on all streaming services, and a lyric video, craftfully made by Absynthe Moon Films again, will be released as well. Stay tuned!!”

Little introduction is needed for the Belgian quintet, formed early 2008 in Mechelen. Marche Funèbre started out as disciples of doom death metal in the vein of the British bands that formed the scene in the 90ties but soon developed their own sound, combining elements from doom, death, black and heavy metal.

Band has released an interesting discography, consisting of 4 full length albums and a handful of other releases while establishing their name through energetic shows all over Europe, and even landing them a US tour.
