Belgian instrumental post-metal quartet Terraformer presents a new version of their 2022’s album »Rebirth«, called »(re)birth«, which was just released on February 26th, 2025.

Terraformer is a post-metal band from Belgium. Formed in 2009, this veteran instrumental outfit meshes heavy riffs, twisted time signatures, and ambient melodies to form their carefully crafted soundscape.

Releasing their self-titled EP (2010), the band quickly began forming a loyal fan base through their powerful lives shows and signed to Dunk!Records. Terraformer went on to release 4 full-length albums, »The Sea Shaper« (2012), »Creatures« (2014), »Mineral« (2017) and »Rebirth« (2022). With each release, the trio and then quintet continued to shape, refine, and evolve its sound, increasing their notoriety along the way with tours across Europe.

After releasing one album with vocals in 2022 (»Rebirth«), the release of »Presence«, a 3-track EP, in November 2023 marks the first step of a new chapter. The band is back to its basics in the form of an instrumental post-metal quartet.
