The Belgian quartet Gros Coeur embarks on a new chapter with the release of »Montréal«, a single that offers a preview of their upcoming album »Vague Scélérate« (out November 21), which they’re already showcasing on their current European tour. With an official music video and vinyl pre-orders now live, the band reaffirms their tropical psychedelia style, full of groove, raw energy, and a highly distinctive identity.

A single to blaze new trails:
»Montréal« is a track driven by hypnotic grooves, frenetic rhythms, and a powerful production that consolidates Gros Coeur’s sound: modern psychedelia with a danceable spirit, pulsing to the beat of kraut-rock and raw soul.

The band also presents an official video with a humorous tone, shot and edited by their own drummer Alexandre de Bueger, further emphasizing their uninhibited, colorful, and always energetic aesthetic.

From Belgium to Spain with »Vague Scélérate«:
Recorded between Koko Studio and Schmerling Studio (Belgium) by Laurent “Roo” Eyen and Adrien Chapelle (also a band member), mixed by Chapelle himself and mastered by Remy Lebbos at Rare Sound Studio (Brussels), the album maintains the strength of their live sound with a finely crafted production approach.

Artwork and design were handled by Marie Theurier, with layout by Benjamin Franssen and Alexandre ee Bueger.

»Vague Scélérate« also marks the band’s first release with official distribution in Spain, made possible through a co-edition between Jaune Orange (BE), Le Cèpe Records (FR), Stolen Body Records (UK), and Spanish indie label Spinda Records, as part of their The Trippy Series collection (which includes acts such as Empty Full Space, Maragda, Moundrag, Moura, Saturna, and Viaje a 800).

More about Gros Coeur:
Gros Coeur is made up of Adrien Chapelle (guitar, vocals), Alexandre de Bueger (drums, percussion), Jimmy Geers (guitar, percussion, keyboards, backing vocals), and Julien Trousson (bass, keyboards, backing vocals). In their native Belgium, they’re already a staple of the contemporary psych scene, thanks to their unique brand of tropical rock – powerful, danceable, and full of flair – and a dynamic live show that has seen them perform at festivals such as Dour (BE), Roadburn (NL), Focus Wales (UK), Monkey Week (ES), and PhoqueOff (CA). Their momentum continues into 2025 with appearances confirmed at festivals like Desert Fest (BE) and MIL (PT).

Their debut album, »Gros Disque« (2023), and the stand-alone single »Sacrifice« (2025), cemented their explosive rise. Now, with »Montréal« and »Vague Scélérate« a new era begins – one that promises to expand their universe into new territories.
