No destination. No expectations. Just existence in motion.

»Driver« is Motsus at their most hypnotic. A seven-minute meditation on being present – cruising through vast, empty spaces with no path ahead, no goal in sight. Just the act of moving, of existing, of being. Heavy #polderriffs propel you forward before dissolving into a psychedelic haze halfway through, mirroring the liminal state between purpose and surrender.

Following the razor-fast urgency of »Short Notice«, »Driver« reveals the cosmic heart of »Atlas«. Like the album’s namesake – and like »Oumuamua« before it – this is music about interstellar drift. Objects traveling through space with no charted course, no known destination. Just motion through the void, observing, existing, being observed.

»Driver« sets the tone for this journey: crushing stoner grooves meet expansive, atmospheric passages that dissolve into the unknown. It’s about letting go of direction and embracing the drift.

Recorded at Dunk’Studio’s in Zottegem and mixed & mastered by Karl Daniel Lidén, with artwork by guitarist Tom Maene.
