Belgian stoner rockers Cowboys & Aliens release new single and music video »Icy Grip«!

Bruges, Belgium based stoner rock band Cowboys & Aliens has released new single and music video »Icy Grip«. More new songs will follow, leading up to the celebration of 30 years Cowboys & Aliens in 2026.

Says the band: “Our new song »Icy Grip« has been released on all relevant platforms all over the world since this morning March 28th. This is also the clip we shot with our friend Jeckyl Hyde studio in the lovely city of Oostende and in the iconic rockpub De Kelk in our hometown Brugge. Hope you all enjoy this one, share it and show us some love.”

Cowboys & Aliens, a four-piece stoner rock band from Bruges (Belgium) formed in 1996 and released 4 full studio albums before falling into hiatus in 2006. The band reunited in 2011 with the original lineup from back in the days of their highly estimated stoner classic »A Trip To The Stonehenge Colony« (2000) with a brand new EP »Sandpaper Blues Knockout« and gave a hell of a show at DesertFest Antwerp and opened up for Deep Purple (for the second time) at Vorst Nationaal. After playing countless festivals around Europe they released another EP in 2014: »Surrounded By Enemies« that took them once more to numerous stages in Belgium, Holland and Germany. In spring 2019 »Horses Of Rebellion« became the band’s first collaboration with homegrown record label Polderrecords.

Now the time has come for their 8th album »Burn!«, released on November 25th, 2022 on Polderrecords. The album was recorded and mixed by Pieter Nyckees at Shellshock Studio and mastered by Uwe Teichert at Elektropolis Brussels and mixes their trademark groovy stoner rock with a darker and heavier sound in such a way only Cowboys & Aliens can get away with.
