Berlin, Germany based industrial/post-metal duo Human Spine is gearing up to release their self-titled debut album on March 22nd, 2024 via Voidance Records.

Human Spine is a collaborative project between Blime Dust (Hugues Dop) and Incendie (Arthur Bdt).

The duo, who have been creating music together since high school, have evolved over the years from rock to post-hardcore and finally to a mix of post-metal and electronic industrial music. After their first release with the track »Abyss« in 2019 on the Modern Bön label’s Urdva Kundali compilation series, this present album testifies to their evolution as artists.

In their collaborative project, they explore the immersive sound influences of bands such as Cult Of Luna, Neurosis and AmenRa, mixing in parallel dystopian soundscapes shaped by our society’s relationship with technology, drawing inspiration from bands such as Author & Punisher, The Body and Godflesh.

Elaborated and developed over three years, Human Spine’s debut album fuses the primitive energy of post-metal with the coldness of industrial influences, offering a fresh perspective on the post-metal scene, balancing meticulous sound design with raw, human elements.

Based in Berlin, the Voidance Records label will release the group’s eponymous debut album in CD and digital formats on March 22, 2024.
