Berlin, Germany based Greek post-metallers Sidus have released new single and music video »Embrace The Void« featuring guest vocals by Sarp Keski of Bipolar Architecture.
»Embrace The Void« is the second single taken from the band’s upcoming debut album, »Lotus«, set to for release on October 16th, 2026 via dunk!records, A Thousand Arms and Black Box Records.

Somewhere between the crushing power of post-metal and its most expansive, atmospheric moments, Sidus have found their voice.
On October 16, 2026, the Berlin-based band will release their debut full-length album, »Lotus«, through dunk!records, A Thousand Arms and Black Box Records, an ambitious concept album that descends into what the band describe as the “human abyss.”
Originally from Athens, Greece, Sidus now operate from Berlin, creating instrumental music built around contrast. Crushing riffs give way to vast atmospheric passages; tension gradually builds before breaking into moments of release; heaviness exists alongside introspection. Drawing inspiration from Russian Circles, Cult Of Luna and Deafheaven, the band use those dynamics to explore inner conflict, transformation and our relationship with the unknown.
»Lotus« takes those ideas further than Sidus have ventured before.
Conceived as a journey into the darker and less understood corners of human experience, the album explores the internal spaces people often avoid confronting, moving through tension, uncertainty and transformation rather than offering simple resolutions. The result is music designed to unfold patiently, where atmosphere carries as much emotional intensity as sheer volume.
The album also brings together musicians and producers closely connected to the European post-metal underground. »Lotus« was produced by Enrico Tiberi of The Ocean, with Noah See of Conjurer performing drums across the record. Joe Clayton, whose credits include Pijn, Bossk and Conjurer, handled mixing and mastering, while Sarp Keski of Bipolar Architecture makes a guest appearance on »Embrace The Void«.
For Sidus, »Lotus« represents the culmination of a musical language they have been developing for several years.
The band’s first steps came with »Seasons Reversed« in 2020 and »Dark Flames« in 2021, before the 2023 EP »Seismos«, released through Argonauta Records, expanded their atmospheric and increasingly heavy approach. Over the past two years, Sidus have carried that music onto stages across Europe, performing alongside Psychonaut, Predatory Void, Hubris and Bipolar Architecture while steadily building an audience beyond their Berlin base.
Now, their first full-length brings those years of experimentation together. »Lotus« moves between crushing heaviness and introspective atmosphere, using ambience and gradual shifts in intensity to explore the darkness at the heart of its concept.
With »Lotus«, Sidus invite listeners not to escape that darkness, but to enter it and discover what lies on the other side.
