Stoned Medusa is a psychedelic doom band from Berlin, Germany. Born out from a series of doom jams in late 2023, this four-piece delivers the perfect soundtrack to humanity’s slow descent into darkness.

Drawing their inspiration from a vast variety of genres like psychedelic rock, doom, jazz, blues, stoner rock, grunge and trip-hop, Stoned Medusa does not really fit into any of these genres. While sometimes dubbed “the ABBA of Doom” due to its two-couple lineup, the mere existence of Stoned Medusa remains an act of rebellion.

Songs from the subconscious are blended into the sound of abyss. Their vocals shift from distant, haunting melodies to raw, searing screams and growls. Dealing with the lunatic extinction on earth, their lyrics hint at forgotten dreams of another future. Everything is drowning and melting together in the sound of droning amps and diabolical drums.
