Sacred Buzz’s self-titled debut LP explores the nature of reality through sci-fi and philosophical ideas, woven together with cinematic twists and vivid imagery. Surreal lyrics emerge from an echoing voice, keeping you suspended while the locked-in krautrock groove of bass and drums anchors your body to the earth. Raw, reverberating guitars laced with fuzz paint intricate patterns across the mind, while droning organ textures provide an underlying ambience that completes Sacred Buzz’s sonic palette.
The LP features 8 songs that travel through psychedelic realms, making their borders seem nonexistent. The album weaves in krautrock, post-punk, and even garage rock. All of these ingredients are brewed into a tasty glowing neo-psychedelic potion that will mesmerize your mind.

Recorded at Monoton Studio in Berlin by Fabien de Menou (Perilymph, Weite), the record brings the band’s vision to life in vivid, colorful sound. Guest musicians Andrea Mirabella (flute) and Mauro Retamales (congas) helped us bring even more colors to our ever-changing surreal palette. Pablo Thiermann (Telemat, ex-Chicos de Nazca), who mixed the record, is a magician himself – telepathically understanding how each finished song should sound. Mastering engineer Pete Maher put a final polish on the sound and shaped it into an industry-standard package expected by pressing factories and streaming services. The cover art comes courtesy of prolific Indonesian illustrator Ardneks, giving the music a face as distinctive and surreal as the sound itself.
The vinyl pressing of 400 copies (black, colored, and special editions) will be released 9th October 2026 via Sound Effect Records and distributed across EU, UK, and US through the labels’ partners. A support tour follows in October-December 2026.

Sacred Buzz is a Berlin psych band known for their electrifying live presence and deeply immersive soundscapes. Their sonic palette bridges vintage and modern: garage-rock grit, krautrock repetition, mesmerizing drones, and proto-punk drive.
On stage, Sacred Buzz conjures a psychedelic ritual: hypnotic drums, throbbing bass, fuzzy guitar reverberating like a lost transmission, droning organ, lo‑fi vocals and surreal lyrics that will rattle your heart out and drive your soul up to the 13th floor in a hazy dream-like vision.
On 1st November 2024, their debut EP »Radio Radiation« was released on Irish Fuzzed Up & Astromoon Records on cassettes and digitally and received critical acclaim with various radios, blogs, and outlets throughout Europe, the UK, and the US.
Their first LP follows in October 2026 on Sound Effect Records. Built around sci-fi and philosophical undercurrents – nature of reality, illusion, and eternal search – the record unfolds with cinematic scope and vivid imagery. It marks a clear evolution: a more refined, more immersive psych sound, still driven by groove and raw energy.
