German instrumental black metal band Mokhir and Malaysian black/doom experimental act Mumuksu teamed up for »Broken Homes« split release, which just dropped on June 25th, 2023 via Ama-Gi Collective.
Tracklist:
01. Mokhir – Tribal Tides
02. Mumuksu – Black
03. Mumuksu – Ego Death
04. Mokhir – Enlightenment
»Broken Homes« is the first split release collaboration between black metal/doom experimental artists Mokhir (Germany) & Mumuksu (Malaysia). Consisting of 4 track movements, the album encompasses a journey that addresses external conflict (war, poverty, geopolitical oppression, hostile takeover of land) and internal conflict (emptiness, isolation, apathy, human disconnection). »Broken Homes« serves as a medium of reflection and movement from nothingness to fulfilment – wherein the duality of nihilism & enlightenment are dissolved into the eternal womb of cosmic union.
