Sliptrick Records re-issued worldwide both albums by Lichtenstein’s one-man melodic gothic/doom metal band Black Reuss: »Metamorphosis« (September 6th, 2022) and »Journey« (October 11th, 2022).

Melodic gothic metal project Black Reuss are back with their new album »Journey«. The album was re-issued worldwide on digital and CD formats via Sliptrick Records on October 11th, 2022.

“»Journey« is about surrendering to inner preferences and being less and less controlled by material or negative things. Going through different stages, progresses as well as regresses. Sometimes Black Reuss experiences bliss, feelings, and inner peace. But he also realizes that there are always stumbling blocks on his journey… Will he find his freedom and arrive?”

»Metamorphosis« is the first album release from melodic gothic metal project Black Reuss and was re-issued worldwide on digital and CD formats via Sliptrick Records on September 6th, 2022.

“The first stage of life is about the transformation, the transformation of a man who is between worlds and nowhere really at home. Struggles with himself and with the world. Will Black Reuss make the journey? What will he encounter in his transformation, what will he take with him and what not?”

There is one person behind Black Reuss. Music, compositions, production, lyrics everything is from one pen and as close to the person behind Black Reuss as it can be. “All is one, all seems to be in balance, all is one, the journey can begin now.”

It may be that despite all these materialistic possessions that we proudly own and flaunt, we remain unhappy, dissatisfied and unfulfilled in our hearts. Revealing the truth can be painful. It is easier to pretend than to face the facts. It’s this huge hole that just takes all these things in. But does the hole really have room for everything?”
