Black Reuss announces new album »Arrival« and releases a music video for the first single »Evolution«; new album coming on December 1st!

Triesen, Liechtenstein based melodic gothic/doom metal one-man band Black Reuss has released new single and music video »Evolution« taken from the upcoming third album, »Arrival«, which will see the light on December 1st, 2023.

Black Reuss is a one-man music project led by Maurizio Dottore, who handles everything from music composition to production and lyrics. For the third album, titled »Arrival«, Black Reuss has collaborated with several talented musicians. Notably, Diego Rapacchietti from the legendary Swiss band Coroner and David Vetsch, formerly of The Beauty Of Gemina, lent their skills to the project, with Vetsch playing all the bass guitars on the album.

The album also features a duet with the renowned singer Anna Murphy, formerly of Eluveitie and now with Cellar Darling. Together, Black Reuss and Murphy perform the song »Soul Awakening«. The album promises to be a departure from ancient preferences and a natural denial, leading listeners on a journey through the darkness of the divine towards the arrival.

Black Reuss is the river of life of a man who describes the changes and chapters he has experienced through music. Life is like a river, always in motion, mostly downhill. The name comes from the Reuss, a Swiss river that rises in the Gotthard massif in the middle of Switzerland, where Black Reuss lived during the writing of »Metamorphosis«.

Stylistically, Black Reuss is at home in doomy, gothic heavy metal with a touch of melancholy and a certain heaviness, the heaviness that has accompanied Black Reuss in some chapters of his life. And as in the river that carries more and more water, the experiences and knowledge that Black Reuss gathers on his way become more and more, until one day the light goes out and disappears in the eternal sea.

Black Reuss will take the audience on this journey on the raven waters of the river of life in 4 chapters, »Metamorphosis«, »Journey«, »Arrival« and »Death«.

On 1st of December 2023, will release the album »Arrival«. In this album is included the single »Evolution«
