Bolivian stoner/groove metal trio Lengua Negra return with their new full-length album »La Eternidad«

Tarija, Bolivia based stoner/groove metal trio Lengua Negra is back with their sophomore full-length album, »La Eternidad«, which was just released on March 26th, 2026 via Puerta del Diablo Records.

Lengua Negra was founded in Tarija, Bolivia in 2018. Drawing from elements of proto-metal in Black Sabbath, the stoner sound of Los Natas, the progressive rock of Genesis, and the psychedelia of Pink Floyd, they immediately began composing new material for the recording of their album »Sarcoma«, independently recorded and released in August 2019.

After surviving the pandemic and its aftermath, Lengua Negra went on to record »Todas las Miserias« in 2022, »Remisión« (a live album) in 2025, and »La Eternidad« in 2026.

Through successes and failures alike, Lengua Negra remains active under the haze of Tarija’s barely perceptible underground. Stealing images and poems from the machine to turn them into makeshift knives, with which they feel their way – without faltering – through the dark.
