Brazilian doom metal trio Riffcoven featuring members of Fossilization and Jupiterian reveal the cover and tracklist of their upcoming album »O Caminho do Aço«.

Founded by Reverend Bode and Old One with the objective of playing heavy music with lyrical themes inspired by mythology, fantasy, horror and drugs. Months later, after many rituals/jams, Riffcoven manages to bring these early experiments and invocations into the studio, the result of which is »Crown Of Darkness«. By combining the various influences, a wall of sound made of riffs and cosmic tensions /waves was built, making Riffcoven the perfect soundtrack for a journey into the Hiborian age or even for going on a ride onboard of a Holy Vimana. Recorded and mixed at Bimini Studio by Bruno Fornazza with special appearance by Gabriel Pereira on sitar, »Crown Of Darkness« was made available on the digital platforms YouTube and Bandcamp. Since the entrance of Lord Python on bass, the digipack CD version limited edition of 500 copies has been available on the unholy trinity alliance of these obscure labels: Doberman Records, Fuzztron Records and Pactus.

As the people argue over the life and death of rock, Riffcoven rises from the darkness invoking the origins of heavy music on the new EP »Never Sleep At Night«, released on September 1, 2022. Recorded, mixed and mastered at Estúdio Eguchi with the cover of the Argentinian graphic artist ZZ_Corpse and digitally released by the Brazilian label Cospe Fogo Gravações, this new work is marked by rock and roll, punk, doom metal and horror. Recorded by the new lineup, the EP features 2 unreleased songs plus a cursed version of »Loose« by The Stooges.
