Curitiba, Brazil based funeral doom/death metal group Bleak Transcendence drops the title track of their upcoming debut album »Mortuanima«, scheduled for release in 2025.

Bleak Transcendence – Brazilian doom band proudly presents the cover art and the title track of the album entitled »Mortuanima«. The debut album will be released in 2025.

The title is a philosophical reference in which existential thoughts and motivations are represented, enabling an experience of internalization in deep aspects of life. Thus, in a transformative perspective, the individual is elevated to an understanding of the reality of his own life and his choices.

Bleak Transcendence is an atmospheric doom metal band inspired by great artistic references of the genre. Formed in the year of 2023 in Curitiba/PR (Brazil) by Alexandre Antunes, Michael Siegwarth and Wagner Müller.

“Musical expression that incorporates a slow, dissonant and atmospheric sound. The unconventional lyrical structure with ethereal textures conveys the feeling of desolation and introspection. Fusing soundscapes with monolithic tempos and rhythms.

We started our journey with the first studio work that is being recorded and produced by ourselves. The full-length containing 6 songs will be released in 2025 and in the next few days we will be presenting the first single which will be available on all digital platforms for download and streaming.”
