Locomotiva Elétrica is a Brazilian instrumental rock band, formed by Lucas Stein (keyboard), Murilo Neumann (guitar) and Eduardo Camini (drums). It was born in 2014, during music jams set up by friends, were the first compositions were made. The first live performance was in 2015, delivering a visceral, energetic and psychedelic sound influenced by the 70s and 60s rock and roll, post rock and stoner rock.

The EP »Os Animais Que Nos Habitam« was realeased in 2024, by the label Abraxas Records. With five songs, recorded between 2018 and 2023 and produced by the band, the EP shows a band with more maturity and technique, in compositions full of moods and ambiences, heavy and melodic, during almost 30 minutes.

»Sonho Lúcido« is a delirium, traveling through heavy guitars and a sharp keyboard, ending in a dark and powerful lamentation.

»Funeral« shows the band capacity to create different dynamics in one song, transitioning between brutal heavy rock and calm moments many times.

»Terra Seca« maybe is the heaviest song in the EP. A beautiful introduction conducts the song to powerful riffs that end in an explosion of fuzz and hammond.

»O Outro Que Também Sou Eu« is the most experimental song ever composed by the band. Starting with riffs that remind us of pop songs even, it evolves to a tangle of guitars, keyboards and synthesizers that form a post-rock ambience.

»Cabo Canaveral«, as its name evoques, takes off in heavy riffs and straightforward solos, beginning in a psychedelyc introduction, as a countdown, for then to bring the album to a closure, full of energy and rock’n roll.
