São Paulo, Brazil based stoner/doom metal band Weedevil premiere new music video for »The Serpent’s Gaze« from their latest full-length album, »Profane Smoke Ritual«, out now via Smolder Brains Records / DHU Records.
The Brazilian stoner doom metal four-piece beast Weedevil from São Paulo is planning to release the music video for »The Serpent’s Gaze« in December, a track from their latest album »Profane Smoke Ritual«, released in June.
Captured in October during the band’s performance alongside the iconic Swedish band Lucifer in São Paulo the video shows Weedevil in one of their best moments on stage with their traditional vibe and performance led by Carol Poison’s vocals. The show, held at the iconic São Paulo concert venue Fabrique Club, took place on October 6th and brings the energy of the track »The Serpent’s Gaze« to the listener in a unique audiovisual recording. The song is about a mystical dance of the serpent transcending time where Lilith whispers ancient secrets and hearts are lost in trance under the dark twilight.
»Profane Smoke Ritual« is the band’s latest studio album and features a diverse and engaging theme with tracks inspired by stoner rock, doom metal and heavy metal. The album is being distributed physically by the Dutch label DHU Records (Vinyl) and Smolder Brain Records (CD) in Mexico.
The videoclip was filmed by Thiago Paraneco, with the video directed and edited by Paulo Ueno and produced by Kalavera Filmes.
Brazilian stoner/doom band formed in 2019 and inspired by names such as Black Sabbath, Windhand, Acid King and Lucifer.
