Born in the semi-arid lands of Petrolina, Pernambuco, Ácida is a stoner rock trio formed in 2024 by Pérola Wesley (bass and vocals), Lucas Valença (guitar), and Caio Cobaia (drums).

With a dense and layered sound, the band fuses stoner, doom, and psychedelia in an experience that ranges from introspective to satirical. The lyrics, in Portuguese, oscillate between the dark, the allegorical, and the unsettling, exploring everything from existential reflections to biting critiques, while the riffs echo the influence of bands like Black Sabbath, Electric Wizard, Sleep, and Acid King.

The project debuted with the self-titled single »Besta Fera« in 2024: a mix of dirty distortion and vocals full of attitude. In January 2026, Ácida released their first EP »Ela«, enveloped in a sound reminiscent of the classics, but with its own identity and a new approach to stoner rock.
