Destruction Of Orion is a solo funeral doom metal act. Formed in 2023.

Born from a calling to channel emotion through atmospheric crushing doom, a funeral doom that conjures the finest moments of the genre when Finnish acts such as Colosseum and Tyranny ruled with music of both depth and intensity.

Destruction Of Orion create a funeral doom that is not only true to that calling but manages to transcend the past – adding a sense of real beauty and emotional chaos into the music.

The result are albums which resonate deeply, the sound of inner turmoil – moulded in a way which is inescapably authentic.
