While we work on releasing our new LP we wanted to release this cover to pay respects to a band/song that is a massive influence, Metallica’s »Sad But True«.
In addition, we included two newly re-mixed and re-mastered covers we previously released.
Thank you to everyone that has supported this band the past 4 years.”
Holy Death is a sonically oppressive heavy metal outfit based out of Long Beach, California that offer a unique take on death doom – drawing inspiration from bands like Entombed, Crowbar, Obituary and Sleep.
In 2022, the band released »Moral Terror« – produced by Alex Estrada / The Pale Moon Ranch (Nails, Xibalba). Shortly after the release of this record singer/guitarist Torie John was diagnosed with cancer. The band decided to track a live session before Torie John began treatment. In November 2022 the band spent a day with producer Riff at his studio Riff Audio in Burbank, CA. The recordings from that day were released in 2023 as »Neck Wound Session«.
