Reptilian Arms (San Jose, CA. Est. 2023) can best be described as a death sludge group that pulls influences from all realms of heavy music. Each band member offers a unique perspective during songwriting, creating an array of themes presented through their small but growing catalog.

Some have called it a “Genre Buffet” since stylings will often switch from one track to another as the band dives further into seeking new sounds and ideas. The only rules around here are to play what we want, and keep it fucking heavy.

»The Set EP« is a re-recording of the band’s first release and demo, »The Set Demo«. »The Set Demo« was recorded in true demo fashion: full tracks, recorded live by the band. Now these songs are getting the love and attention they deserve, and a full facelift as Reptilian Arms’ third studio release. Recorded, mixed, and mastered by District Recordings, San Jose.

What’s next:

As of now, we are actively writing our first full-length to be tracked in mid to late 2027. We are hoping the full-length will attract smaller, independent labels that can help distribute our music to a larger demographic, which might subsequently lead to possible festival appearances in the future.

In addition to writing our first full-length, we are looking forward to playing out more in 2027 in the Bay Area and beyond, and sharing our new material with fans and friends.
