Twentynine Palms, California based heavy psych rockers Volume have released a cover of The Stooges track »Loose« from their summer cover version series.

Patrick Brink comments: “The Stooges rule and are an extremely influential band to me. So, I didn’t take it lightly when I decided to cover one of their greatest songs – Loose… it’s the second release in this short summer cover version series. We kept it raw and intense trying to capture the energy of the original recording. The Stooges set the Rock n Roll bar and knowing that we attacked it with all we had. If you know Volume you know we like lots of fuzz and psycho grooves. This cover is no exception – it rocks!”

Recorded in 2003 at The Distillery (RIP) with Mike Mchugh engineering.
